Project Integration Manager (The Court)

Nike is looking for a Project Integration Manager. You will be part of “THE COURT” program team that will design, build and operationalize a brand-new Apparel Distribution Center as part of the European Logistics Campus in Belgium. In this role, you will be driving the integration and coordination of the various project plans to create a consistent, coherent and successful program of work. You will provide project management support to the project management team.

With your drive, you will ensure a qualitative integratipn of all the project tracks, where interdependencies are identified early on, risks are mitigated in time and milestones are not jeopardized. Communication across the program teams and regional/global teams is critical as transparency will ensure we stay true to our objectives..

  • Integrated Project Planning Strategy: drives a strategic approach to how we set up and manage the integration between the project tracks in a disciplined and predictable manner.

  • Cross-functional project- and resource plan development and follow-up. Oversees and integrates all project tracks, creating and maintaining a consistent, coherent overview with interdependencies. Identifies and mitigates risks in time before they can become issues by closely collaborating with the various track owners. Ensures a solid cross-functional resource plan exists and is kept up-to-date. Identifies time periods where resource constraints could become a risk and comes up with options to mitigate. Makes recommendations and/or choices about cross-track resource allocations, making trade-offs among competing objectives and alternatives.

  • Communication: ensures communication to project stakeholders and their expectations is well managed.

  • Influencing skills: Reads the organization and understands, interprets and analyzes different perspectives. Able to drive towards consensus. Presents ideas and solutions in easy-to-understand manner to influence people and decisions.  Works independently across the various levels of the project members and its stakeholders.

  • Lead by Example:  Applies high standards, consistent with Nike’s values, to every day behavior.


SET?

  • Master degree and at least 5 years project management with progressive responsibility. Project related distribution-warehousing experience required.

  • Implementation experience of warehouse processes and/or systems is a plus.

  • Robust analytical skills (process/data) and experience with processes and systems (ERP, WMS, etc.) such that you know what can be leveraged to gain efficiencies and improve processes. 

  • Experienced in a multinational (European) environment with effective communication skills in English to influence various levels within a matrix structure. Ability to build bridges, with a positive attitude, drive and energy.

  • A proven track record of delivering results (quality, time, budget) on regionally-based projects.

  • Experienced with formal project management methodologies and know how to adapt, improve, and implement that methodology in a standardized way.

  • Strong in working with cross-functional teams. Experienced in managing a small number of direct reports.

  • Up-to-date PC (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and process mapping (Visio) skills.
