Position Summary:
OVERVIEW
This hands-on role is responsible for assisting in the development and execution of marketing initiatives, internal/external communication plans and business development strategies focused on increasing brand awareness, market share and revenues across the region and key JLL business lines in the Pacific Northwest, including Seattle, Bellevue and Portland.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assist in the development of marketing strategies in collaboration with the marketing director and business line leads
Play a role in the creative processes and execution of these strategies and activities (these may include pitch presentations, proposals, brochure development, direct mail campaigns, PR and internal communications)
Oversee internal communication strategies, including newsletters, new hire announcements and utilization of digital screens
Manage internal and external events at direction of marketing director
Maintain local websites & digital channels
Coordinate sponsorships and networking events
Track and coordinate relevant company/broker award opportunities
Serve as the productivity manager for the marketing team (administration of Workfront)
Manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal direction to the satisfaction of internal clients
Serve as a collaborative and productive contributor to the regional marketing group
Provide technical training on JLL marketing tools/processes to administrative team as needed
Develop and administer special programs as directed
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Create highly polished new business presentations and proposals that differentiate JLL from the competition.
Drive improved pitch and proposal results by tracking win/loss outcomes and making necessary recommendations on approach as needed
Explore unique presentation tools and techniques to enhance the competitive position
Maintain library of completed pitches and proposals and baseline in printed and electronic formats
Research and implement technology to differentiate JLL – develop and optimize content for these channels
REQUIREMENTS
Outstanding project management skills – ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects with minimal direction, working within tight deadlines in a team environment
Ability to effectively prioritize projects
Excellent writing, editing, formatting and oral communication skills
Proven ability to use the Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office products and digital technologies
Basic understanding of strategic graphic design
Ability to work successfully in a service-oriented, matrixed environment
Demonstrated leadership, organizational and team-management skills
Ability to work under pressure and maintain professional demeanor at all time
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, English, or a related field
3 – 5 years of marketing experience
