Responsibilities include:
 
  • Focused on building relationships with key industry associations
  • Designs and develops state by state mar com and event plans
  • Assists with national public safety events as well strategy for state and local public Safety events
  • Documents metrics around events (ie. Attendees, Contact info captured, and leads captured for follow up)
  • Works closely with the market development team to support events with the right content and event presence to put best foot forward to drive lead generation at these events.
  • Builds tight relationship with key personnel at national, state and local associations boards and committees.
  • Focused on setting event strategy and managing event budget
  • Integrates lead capture at events and gets them properly into the marketing automation and CRM systems for lead nurturing and follow up.
  • Drives effective use of budget to events that are strategic in nature or produce sales opportunities in the public safety vertical
  • Works with market development team to help coaches the team to delivering compelling content thru presenting at events and trade shows to customers and partners.
  • Leverage relationship and sponsorships with associations for maximum benefit thru lead list, contact list ability to do email blast by association and
  • Delivers content to key associations for public safety vertical associations and organization to showcase and leverage their digital and print assets as an advertising platform
  • Brings religion to contact collection and management in marketing database and Sales CRM tools for maximum capture of content.
  • Provides direction to accomplish expense management and resource allocation based on market demands.
  • Collaboratively works across cross functional teams including public safety sales and product teams to maximize effectiveness and achieve marketing and sales objectives.

    Required Skills
     
    • Education: Bachelors or advanced degree preferred
    • Experience: Typically requires 3-5 years of experience in a management position in the discipline of business development, sales or marketing
    • Additional previous experience - Law Enforcement, Fire or EMS background preferred.
    • Experience and knowledge in Public Safety vertical highly preferred
    • Business development or sales leadership experience associated with partnering with internal / external organizations including matrix management
    • Experience in developing new organizations to facilitate strategic services growth
    • Experience in strategic product launches and working with strategic ecosystem partners
    • Preferred - has existing Sr. relationships with the first responder community
    • Preferred - understanding of first responder environment and dispatching processes
    • Preferred - understanding of state and local government decision making processes for the first responder community
    • Experience in broadband and cellular solutions preferred
    • Passion in serving and marketing solutions to public safety vertical
    • Attended or plan to attend Citizens Academy if not a former First Responder.
