Financial Manager

Position Summary:
OVERVIEW
Lead the review of periodic financials, budgets, re-forecasts, and revenue / expense analysis. Provide management and client with financial reporting and business trends used for business planning and strategic and tactical decision making.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Drive improvements in reporting and analytics; create dashboards to give visibility of financials to help leadership grow the business and make sound decisions.
- Lead the strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting activities; including facility-related expenses for various business segments.
- Manage and mentor finance team members, helping guide their professional development.
- Review and perform variance analyses and evaluate financial performance; identify opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with client finance staff to ensure the JLL team is meeting their needs,
- Identify tactical and strategic opportunities, gaps, and financial risks through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with the team to develop efficient reporting strategies including automation and simplification of reporting processes.
- Lead other special projects as requested by senior leadership.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- MBA, a plus
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience, including experience managing other finance staff
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Superior EXCEL skills, including building financial models
- Proficiency with JD Edwards E1 General Ledger system, a plus
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks with the ability to reprioritize and shift priorities quickly
- Strong presentation and communication skills (oral and written)
- Demonstrates consistency in values, principles, and work ethic
