DUTIES: Develop solutions to complex business and technical problems or issues of complex scope using advanced engineering and scientific principles; utilize L3 networking; perform security, firewall and intrusion protection; perform application load balancing; utilize and deploy Cisco NXOS Platforms- Nexus 7k/5k/2k/1000v, IOS-XR Platforms- CRS3/1 and ASR9k; perform network planning for capacity improvements; translate key business requirements to network requirements; create and validate network migration strategies and blueprints for upgrading and hardware/software components in the network; collaborate with various vendors in implementing a multi-vendor solution in a cloud environment; implement heat templates to orchestrate the Virtual Network Framework (VNF) instantiation process; work as part of a large team in migrating existing non-virtualized solutions to the cloud environment.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science and five years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience in the job offered or five years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience in utilizing L3 networking; performing security, firewall and intrusion protection; performing application load balancing; utilizing and deploying Cisco NXOS Platforms- Nexus 7k/5k/2k/1000v, IOS-XR Platforms- CRS3/1 and ASR9k; performing network planning for capacity improvements; translating key business requirements to network requirements; creating and validating network migration strategies and blueprints for upgrading and hardware/software components in the network.
