Strategic Sourcing Manager - VIRTUAL

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our account team. This can be a virtual position, preferable in the Western U.S. (Central, Mountain or Pacific time zones).
 
Responsibilities:

• Manage supplier identification and on-boarding process for all sites including supplier setup, COI management and pricing management
• Manage expiring contracts, renewals and cancellations for all incumbent suppliers
• Draft and develop new agreements and contract amendments of varying complexity based on established templates
• Manage contract filing system including tracking methodologies and contact information
• Develop category plans to provide visibility to subcategory spends, supplier summaries, stakeholder engagement plans, contract summaries and market insights that lead to both short and long-term strategies.
• Assess and build annual sourcing initiatives that provide detailed service commodity strategies that identify objectives, leveraged spend initiative, and milestone timelines; track and report progress on regular intervals
• Support contracting of all suppliers based on client-requirements for PO’s and MSA’s including negotiation, contract development and reporting as required by client.
• Assess, develop and segment supply base to consolidate and optimize supply base and relationships
• Conduct local and regional Preferred Supplier performance review meetings, manage supplier scorecards, contract compliance and service obligations
• Benchmark current rate structures, service programs and apply market intelligence to improve cost and efficiencies
• Maintain contact and regular communication with site leads across portfolio to ensure continuity in supplier performance Manage a team of sourcing professionals

 
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics or other applicable degree
• Minimum of 5-7 years strategic sourcing experience for facilities services categories

• Experience working in critical environments preferred
• Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in Supplier Performance Management
• Proven ability to multitask and work independently
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Computer proficiency in MS Excel, Access and PPT
