DUTIES: Develop solutions to complex business and technical problems or issues of complex scope using advanced engineering and scientific principles. Perform technical solution and test strategy, test plan, test design, protocol testing, black box testing, and functional testing. Perform Defect detection, Defect isolation, Root Cause Analysis, and Defect Management. Perform WAN and cloud network performance monitoring and testing of protocols like VoLTE/LTE EPC, SRVCC, SBC, 2G/3G, GTPV2C, GTPV1C, GTPV1U, S1AP, SS7, SS7 (ISUP), MP-BGP, LDP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, Frame relay, ATM, PPP, IPSec, VOIP, MAP, SMPP, TCP/IP, AND H.323. Apply engineering principles and practice in broad areas of complex technical project work that requires in-depth analysis using advanced techniques, knowledge, and expertise. Support AT&T Service validation team as a test and solution architect. Test and conduct flow analysis to unearth defects for VoLTE services. Troubleshoot complex issues based on node traces and various diagnostic tools for both packet and IMS core. Integrate service architecture realization using In-car device, routing, service interop, element KPI adherence and geo –redundancy solution. Test, design the execution and flow analysis for Solution integration and isolate the issues across in-car device, Carrier interop core (IXC), EPC core and IMS core entities. Troubleshoot complex issues based on node traces and various diagnostic tools for IP core, packet and IMS core. Design test strategy for complete test life cycle involving VNF construction, dimensioning, SDN, openstack, underlay interconnect, service feature, capacity, and performance. Perform network and element architecture design and requirement analysis with vendor and cross functional team to provide E2E solution to meet the services requirements. Identify the solidification of the KPI/KCI parameters for VNF, SDN and Virtualization layer characterization and lead the developmental approach to automate the metrics collection. Define the test automation approach in realizing the real time metrics across different virtual functions, virtual networks, and underlay hardware in the integrated network environment.
