AT&T - Sr Member of Technical Staff EPC Policy Platform Architecture - Redmond, WA

DUTIES: Develop solutions to complex business and technical problems or issues of complex scope using advanced engineering and scientific principles. Perform Network Design, Solution, Deployment, Implementation, Requirement Design, Analysis, and Testing of UMTS, LTE and VoLTE Services, and SDN Technologies. Plan and design migration strategies and provide design recommendations to customers. Build hardware configurations, software updates, and Layer 2/3 switch configurations. Perform defect and issue troubleshooting, provide root cause analysis, and perform software defect resolution testing. Apply engineering principles and practice in broad areas of complex technical project work that requires in-depth analysis using advanced techniques, knowledge, and expertise. Implement network APIs using RESTful APIs and custom APIs. Utilize API industry forums such as OMA and oneM2M. Utilize C, SQL, UNIX shell scripting, and Python programming languages. Build and implement gateway configurations per services requirement and features. Prepare IxLoad and Landslide scripts for troubleshooting and sanity testing. Troubleshoot issues and problems, perform root cause analysis and provide resolution.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Engineering or Electronic Engineering followed by seven (7) years progressive experience in the job offered or seven (7) years of progressive experience performing Network Design, Solution, Deployment, Implementation, Requirement Design, Analysis, and Testing of UMTS, LTE and VoLTE Services, and SDN Technologies. Experience therein to include two (2) years of experience planning and designing migration strategies and providing design recommendations to customers; building hardware configurations, software updates, and Layer 2/3 switch configurations; and performing defect and issue troubleshooting, providing root cause analysis, and performing software defect resolution testing.
