Currently, we are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Lynnwood, WA.

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Mechanic will have a strong focus on operating, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing facility equipment on all systems.  Individuals are expected to be multi-skilled and demonstrate technical knowledge in minor electrical work, HVAC, Piping / Plumbing, and general maintenance in order to successfully complete daily / weekly work assignments.

Essential Functions:

  • Performance of ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other installed systems, equipment, and other components.

  • Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations.

  • Maintain compliance in regards to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes and / or Laws.

  • Record readings and make adjustments where necessary to ensure proper operation of equipment.

  • Comply with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.

  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace.

  • Review monthly client service request summaries to pinpoint and correct recurrent operational problems.

  • Monitor the quality of maintenance work performed by outside contractors.

  • Lead and / or assist with event set-up / teardown activities including electrical, audio visual, coordinating with security or other tasks as needed.

  • Escalate problems or issues to Customer and Manager in a timely manner.

  • Perform additional job duties as requested.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA):

  • Ability to analyze the operation of various systems, determine the cause of any problems / malfunctions and take corrective action as required.

  • Working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook).

  • The individual in this role must be available for Call-in work and perform other duties as required.

  • Strong Customer Service and Interpersonal skills.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • The incumbent will not have any supervisory responsibility.

Physical Work Requirements and Work Conditions:

  • The position will be located in a corporate office environment. 

  • High-level customer interaction may be required.

  • A majority of the individuals work will be performed independently.

  • Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs. and climb up to 30 ft. ladders. 

  • Position requires frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and driving.

  • Candidate must possess and maintain a current and valid state driver’s license. 

  • Must pass background, drug / alcohol, and MVR screening process. 

Minimum Required Education:

  • High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.

  • Have a minimum of one to three years of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical.
